We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the Stockton, CA area.  

The Sanitation Supervisor provides strong leadership to the Sanitation team to achieve site’s
compliance with all GMP, personnel, food safety, sanitation and cleaning standards pertaining to all federal, state and customer requirements and Kruger’s own food safety and
quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Supervise the Sanitation team in cleaning and sanitizing production equipment per Kruger Foods, Inc. protocol
  • Leads the sanitation team in safe working practices including chemical handling, PPE and OSHA requirements.
  • Understands the manufacturing process and equipment/parts design in order to ensure
proper equipment sanitation and efficient start-ups.
  • Maintains records and daily logs. Prepares periodic activity and reports for review.
  • Ensures supply rooms are stocked and maintained in a neat & orderly manner.
  • Plans, schedules and coordinates cleaning projects with Maintenance, Production and QA Departments.
  • Notifies QA Department or Site Management of any problems or potential product risks
  • Ensures all safety procedures are followed by Sanitation team members.
  • Participate in weekly GMP inspection and monthly internal audit of the facility.
  • Ensures that sanitation team members are properly trained in chemical handling, storage, personal protective equipment use.
  • Establishes standards and procedures for sanitation group.
  • Train sanitation team in the following tasks:
    • adding specified amounts of chemicals to equipment at required times to maintain solution levels and concentrations;
    • draining, cleaning, and refilling machines or tanks at designated intervals, using cleaning solutions or water;
    • measuring, weighing, or mixing cleaning solutions, using measuring tanks, calibrated rods or suction tubes;
    • drawing samples for laboratory analysis, or test solutions for conformance to specifications, such as acidity or specific gravity;
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
