We are currently seeking for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager leads processes, teams and coordinates activities concerned with manufacture of pickled products from raw product to finished products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinates activities of personnel working across departments in the manufacturing facility based on factors such as operational performance, costs of operation, operational safety, productivity, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibility for enforcement of GMP’s across all departments of the facility. This includes assuring that regular Zone reviews are occurring, data is being compiled and analyzed to assure continuous improvement.
Oversee Facilities Management to ensure that the facility interior and exterior is maintained at a high level of condition and cleanliness at all times.
In partnership with QA you will be responsible for the application of Food Safety and Quality Standards across all departments.
Work with QA, Production and Warehouse to minimize hold accumulations, and determine root cause analysis to work towards driving hold occurrences down. Ensure that holds are processed according to assigned disposition in a timely manner.
Oversee inspection team to make sure that inspections are conducted within 24-48hour inspection rule. Ensure that packaging defects found are reworked right away and that proper data is collected and reported on appropriately.
Oversee production manager, scheduler and purchasing clerk to assure proper sourcing and monitoring of raw materials and packaging
